Grandfather shared, "Journey, a thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine." (Line 17) - What did he mean? How can this message be applied into your life? You need to answer in a paragraph format with at least 5 sentences.
It means that it is fine if it is not perfect. A picture does't have to be the best, it still is ok if it is just good. The grandpa gives examples of that in paragraph 17(last paragraph).

"A thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine," means that something does not have to be the best thing to mean something to someone. Things aren't always perfect, but they can matter a lot. This involves in my life because some of my friends and family aren't perfect, but they mean a lot to me. Also, my artwork isn't perfect, but it means a lot to me. Grandfather was right. Things don't have to be perfect to be fine.

The grandfather meant it does not always have to be perfect to be good. This message Applys when you make a mistake on very important stuff such as book reports. For example,if you make a mistake in a diorama for school, you can turn it into a good thing. This also happened in my life.I was drawing a purple flower until my cousin spilled pink paint on it.Instead of making a fuss,I turned it into a heart.

I think he meant: As long as you try, it will be OK. If you fail, you can learn from experience. You will try not do that same mistake again. In my life, my piano recital songs I played last month were not perfect. But after the performance I told my parents I did not play my songs perfectly, but they thought I did a good job. So you don't have to be perfect to be fine.

I think "Journey, a thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine." means that if you try, it is still ok even if it isn't perfect. Plus, in life that helps because then you won't become mad or frustrated that you can't do it perfectly. In my opinion, there is actually no such thing as perfect. You have to be proud of what you did or done because then you will accomplish something and not just stay there worrying. Things are still good enough even if they are not perfect.

This is what I think Grandfather meant. Everything that you make or do will not be perfect, but it will always be fine. This has happened to me in this incident. I painted a picture of an owl which my art teacher messed up by using car paint to paint it. But my parents thought that it was fine.

When Grandfather said," Journey, a thing does not have to be perfect to be fine," I think he meant that a thing is fine even if it is not perfect. This message can be applied to our life because we sometimes get discouraged if one thing goes wrong or not how we would have liked it to be. I sometimes get very frustrated if things don't turn out how I would have really liked it to be. When these things happen, people start to also think negatively towards their work, even though it might be pretty good. So, I think that we can apply this into our daily life by reminding ourselves about this saying when things go wrong or when something does not go our way so that we will know that our work actually really good. This quote also tells us about how we should be proud of our work even if it is not how we meant it to be. In the seventeenth paragraph, it tells us about Grandfather telling his grandchild that even though the picture that he had taken had fuzzy edges, it looked very nice. He said that it looked like he and his sister were wrapped in a cocoon and were away from the world.Clearly, this quote can be applied to everyone including me to help us remember that we still have done a good job even if one little thing does not go right.

I think what Grandfather meant was, perfect isn't everything. Fine is accepted . I have had experience when I was singing. My teacher said it was fine, I thought it wasn't. Mother said perfect isn't everything, fine is okay. So I practiced with confidence and gave a good performance on the stage. This is what I think Grandfather meant to tell his Granddaughter.

Grandfather means that even if something is not the best, it is still good in its own ways. During my soccer season, we aren't at the top of our league, but we still can attend tournaments. It is fun playing with my team and I am looking forward to going to Sacramento in November. We may not win but we will do our best.

His grandpa means what you do doesn't have to be perfect to be fine.It just has to be pretty good. Not everything you do in life is going to be perfect.Like if you make a statue it is not going to come out like the real thing. It will be close enough to the real thing. He really just means if you try your best on something and it doesn't come out like expected don't get discouraged.Just keep trying harder until you get it right.

I think when Grandfather said,"Journey,a thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine," I think he meant if something feels bad to you, look at the bright side of things. Also in paragraph 8 sentence 5, Journey thinks the picture he took looked like a painting since the edges were blurred and soft.I can apply this to my life by finding the beauty in my work.Grandpa said that it looks like they are wrapped in a cocoon alone in the world.Grandpa found the beauty in this picture that Journey didn't find and should have found. We can also apply this to our life by reminding ourselves that not everyone is perfect in everything.Try to peel away your negative thoughts and enter in your favorite world of positive thoughts.Think positive thoughts about yourself, and when you finish it-it will feel like your masterpiece.Think positive thoughts and in everything you do,you will find beauty or at least a trace of beauty..Believe in yourself and do what you want to do.Just because it isn't perfect, doesn't mean it's just fine in your own way.Your way is better in everyone else's if your proud of your work.If you don't feel pride in your work no one else will like it.Your pride affects your thinking and the beauty you have that not all people have.Be proud of what you have.

His grandpa meant that every thing does not have to be perfect to be good.Sometimes things go wrong but you will have to deal with it.You can't just sit in a corner and cry.For example if you mess up on an interview and you don't get the job that interview could have given you. You just have to understand that you will never have a perfect life. The only thing that count's is you have to work hard.Even if everybody's poster for a book report is better than your's at least you worked hard. This is what grandpa means.

What Grandfather meant by,"Journey, things don't have to be perfect to be fine" is that something doesn't have to be beautiful to be precious to someone. One example is that if your mother or father was somewhere far away and you don't know when your going to see him/her again, a photo or belonging to that person would probably mean everything in the world to you. Also, they can be memories of happy times and family. When someone is depressed, these memories might help cheer them up. In fact, people would often value faded, blurry pictures of someone rather than a beautiful and perfect gold necklace. All that Grandfather is trying to say is that things don't have to be perfect to be precious.

I think grandpa means that a thing may not have to be the best, but can be okay. For example, in a video game, the graphics may be good, but the story isn't.This message can be applied to my life so I can not always expect the best out of everything. Also, I should not expect the best out of person because everyone has space to improve. This is what I think grandpa means.

Grandpa means the journey of learning. He's also saying things not perfect can be perfected. How can they be perfected? By practicing.
Which is pretty much what Grandpa in wise words.
(line 17) Things are good enough to continue your life.

Grandfather meant that it is okay to be fine and you don't have to be perfect at anything. Now I am going to tell you three examples of this in real life. The first example of this is when you are doing an art project, suppose you messed up by not making the folds correctly. You can still make the project and it won't turn out that bad. The second example of this is when you are doing gymnastics, if your cartwheel is not prefect it doesn't matter because first, you tried your best. Second, you still did it okay. The last example of this is if you are making a sandwich, and you didn't cut it properly, messed up the order of the cucumber and the cheese, and made it with the wrong type of bread it is still okay because at least you made a sandwich. In conclusion, these are the three examples of what grandfather meant and what my analysis is for what grandfather said.

I think that grandfather means that it will still be fine even if it's not perfect. Nothing in life is perfect so if it's pretty good then it's good enough. If you tried your best on something and it didn't go out so well, its okay because you tried your best. Even though we lost our football game against Discovery we tried our best so it was alright.

I think what Grandfather meant by, "Journey, a thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine" means that you do not have to be perfect all the time in life. When Journey saw the photo of Emmett and Grandfather, he thought the photo was not perfect because the edges were blurry. Grandfather said that things do not always have to be perfect to be fine. Sometimes, they do not turn out to be perfect, so just leave them good enough. You can also find the good side of something that is bad. For example, if you are painting, and you smudge your paper, just leave it that way. And like Grandfather said, the picture looks like Emmett and him inside a little cocoon, so that is the good part. In life, you are going to experience many mishaps, so leave things good enough, and always try to find the bright side of things that go wrong.

I thick what Journey's grandfather meant by "Everything doesn't have to be perfect to be fine," is that everything you do is not going to be perfect. If you don't except that, you won't get anywhere. You might not be able to make something perfect, but that doesn't make it bad. Just because someone did something better then you, that doesn't make yours bad. This message applied in my life one time when I was at art class at school. My picture wasn't perfect, but it was still fine. I liked my picture the way it was. If I hadn't liked it, I would have had less fun that art class.

When grandpa said," journey,A thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine", I think he meant anything can bad fine even if it is not perfect. If you take a picture and if something us wrong with it, it is still fine. Another example is when you mess something up it is still fine

I think that line meant that everything is not perfect. You shouldn't be angry if something isn't perfect. But in a way it can be better than what you think. So I think this is an important phrase because this talks about why everything is not perfect but better. I know this happens to everyone so don't be angry when you do something wrong instead look at the bright side.

I think that "journey, a thing doesn't have to be perfect" means that everything you do won't be perfect but it will be fine. If you you want to be perfect, you won't do what life wants you to do.You can apply this to life like if you did everything messy(but not to messy) it is still fine. Also writing, typing, drawing, and many more are never perfect. You can always find errors in any type of activity. This is what I think grandfather means.

I think what "A thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine." means something doesn't have to be perfect to be OK or fine. Meaning as long as you do your best and put a lot of effort into something it will always be fine and nothing can be perfect either. It also means that if you believe you can do something and you do something it will be fine. An example is if someone got a big long term project and did at the last minute, didn't take their time, didn't care, and turn the project in that would not be fine or OK. but if they took their time put a lot of effort into it and, turned it in then they would probably get a really good grade which would be more than fine or OK.
So that is what I think"A thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine." means.

When Grandpa says" A thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine," I think he meant that there can be ways to always fix a problem. If pretend I broke a special vase, I can always turn it good again by either buying the same type of vase or getting my family a better one.
I think the definition for "A thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine" is things don't have to be perfect for people or anyone to like it. When Journey figured this out, he probably found out that this is because no one is perfect enough to do things.

What Grandpa meant was that all your journeys do not need to be perfect for it to be fine. His picture got smudged because his grand-daughter shook the camera, but it still was a good picture. How this message can be applied in my life is that no matter whatever happens, there is always something good about it. Sometimes all you can see is bad things, but all you need to do is find the good things. That is what Grandpa did by saying that they look like they are wrapped in a cocoon, and away from the rest of the world because the edges framed them.

Grandfather meant that the first try of a thing doesn't have to be perfect for it to be good. He believes that if you learn from your mistakes of the first try you can achieve your goal. You should keep trying to perfect it. This applies to your life as you should never give up in anything. If you don't make it the first time you should always try again.

When Grandfather said "Journey, things don't have to be perfect to be fine," he meant that even if the picture Journey took was blurred and not perfect, it is still a prized possession of his grandfather's. Like if you take the Mona Lisa, and a photograph taken by a photographer, the Mona Lisa will not be as perfect as the photograph will be, but it is probably valued more. This lesson can be applied in life in many ways. One might be that when you are writing an essay, your writing will never ever be perfect, but if you tried your best, it will be valued for your hard work. It also means that there is a good side and a bad side, but don't look at the bad side, only look at the good side. That is what he meant in paragraph 14 sentence two when he said it looked like Emmet and he were wrapped in a cocoon.

When Grandfather said,"Journey, a thing doesn't have to be perfect to be fine," he meant that things don't have to be perfect to be good enough for you. There may be a few faults, but if the quality and the work put in is the best you can do, then it is okay. For example, sometimes, I go hiking in the mountains and complete 3 miles on a 4 mile trail. Although I did not complete the trail, I was satisfied because I had worked my hardest. Also, those 3 miles of the trail had picturesque views and were full of wildlife, so I enjoyed it. This message from Grandfather can be applied in almost any activity in our lives.

When Grandfather said, "Journey, things don't have to be perfect to be fine.", he meant that if something is good, it doesn't matter. Perfect is not the only thing in the world that matters. In the blurred picture, Emmett and Grandfather were in the center. It was like being wrapped in a cocoon. Even though nothing is perfect, it is still good. Everything should be considered good. This also means that we should be proud of what we do. It is your own special work that will be valued. There is no such thing as perfect. But there is such thing as good. Everything is okay because even though you messed up on something, your creation did serve part of its purpose. This applied into my life when I made a mistake on my art, I just let it go. My art was still good. There is still a special, unique quality of something that went wrong. The picture is a good quality. Even though the edges were blurred, Emmett and Grandfather were framed away from the rest of the world. The picture is still wonderful. You should try to do your best to do whatever you want to do.

When grandfather said,"Journey, things don't have to be perfect to be fine.", he meant that things didn't have to be perfect. In the paragraph, Journey's photo was blurred but his grandfather said that it looked like a cocoon blocking out everything else. The saying can be applied to life because things might be good, but not perfect. If you tried to win a swimming contest and got second place, you would have done good, but not perfect. That is what grandfather meant when he said the quote.

The phrase, " journey, things do not have to be perfect to be fine" means that things do not always have to be the best to mean something to you or someone else. That phrase means a lot to me because, my skills and work is not always perfect. It may not be the best, but it is the best to me. Whenever i do something, it does not always turn out the way i want it to. It is just a matter of life, everything has a purpose. I sometimes mess up in things like art

When Grandfather said, "Journey, things don't have to be perfect to be fine," he meant that even though things are not perfect, it will be fine. I felt that when I painted a picture of a tree. I accidentally painted a big blob of red on the tree, and felt that my painting was destroyed. My art teacher told me that it was fine and you could always try to smudge it out. Even though it was kind of red, it was fine. This is what I think grandfather felt.
